The third-place World Cup matchup between France and England might not be as high-profile as the final between Argentina and Spain, but there is still a lot at stake.
The winner of the match will receive a bronze medal and, possibly more importantly, a lot of money to split among the 26 players and the coaching staff.

FIFA Council approved a record $655 million prize fund for this year's World Cup, a 50 percent increase from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Just making the tournament is lucrative for nations, even if they don't advance past the group stage; it still nets them a cool $9 million. Argentina took home $42 million for their 2022 triumph, and Croatia pocketed $27 million for the third-place victory over Morocco in that tournament.
