Throughout his successful acting career, including roles in the Rambo and The Expendables films, Sylvester Stallone has had his wife, Jennifer Flavin, by his side.
Stallone and Flavin, a businesswoman and former model, met by chance in 1988 and got married nine years later. They later welcomed their daughters: Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet. These days, the family maintains a close relationship, often attending events, spending holidays together and working on their Paramount+ reality series, The Family Stallone.
Stallone and Flavin have faced challenges in their marriage — they nearly divorced in August 2022 — but after more than 35 years together, they’ve worked through the difficult moments and come out stronger.
In May 2024, Flavin marked their anniversary with a throwback photo. “Happy Wedding Anniversary my love! 27 years!!!” she wrote. “36 years of us being together!! I’m blessed in life to have true love and having wonderful kids! Couldn’t ask for more.”

Flavin is from Los Angeles, according to her IMDb page. She opened up about her childhood in a December 2007 interview with Haute Living, noting her humble beginnings.
When Flavin was 12 years old, her father died, and her mother was left to raise seven children alone. Watching her mom struggle to make ends meet left a lasting impression.
“I knew that if-God forbid-anything ever happened in my life, I needed to know how to take care of myself,” she reflected.
Flavin explained that she had no choice but to stay focused on her career when she was young. “I had to work, I had to make money, I had to support myself,” she added.
She's a model-turned businesswoman

Flavin began modeling at age 19 with Elite Modeling Agency, per her Apple TV bio. After dealing with acne as a young model, she discovered an effective treatment at a small California shop called Serious Skin Care.
According to the company’s website, she later partnered with the brand’s original creator to help bring it to national prominence and support others dealing with skin issues.
Flavin has been involved with the company for over 25 years and has played a key role in developing the brand, offering what is described as “sensible solutions to a myriad of skincare and beauty problems.”
She frequently appears in videos on the company’s Instagram to talk about skin care and recommend Serious Skin Care products.
Flavin didn’t miss modeling after choosing to focus on skin care instead. “I didn’t live that life, I’d rather stay home and read. I was the anti-model model,” she told The Seattle Times in July 2008.
She and Stallone met at a restaurant in 1988

Stallone and Flavin had an instant connection when they met at a West Hollywood restaurant in 1988. During an episode of their TV show, The Family Stallone, the actor detailed that night.
“I was in this dark restaurant, a few people,” Stallone said. “She came in and, whoa! Something happened. I just felt, like, this jolt.”
He joked that he thought there’d been a “minor earthquake or something.”
According to Flavin, “We just hit it off, it was crazy. We were inseparable all night.”
They married in 1997

Over more than 30 years together, Stallone and Flavin continue to be by each other's sides.
After crossing paths in 1988, the couple briefly split in 1994. The actor and model eventually reconciled and got married on May 17, 1997.
Following 25 years of marriage, Flavin filed for divorce in August 2022, claiming that her husband was “engaging in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets,” which he denied.
A month later, they called off the divorce. A source told PEOPLE at the time, “They’ve decided to let it ride again. They just decided to reverse course and try again.”
Shortly after, a rep for Stallone told Page Six that he and Flavin “decided to meet back up at home, where they talked and were able to work out their differences.”
Stallone also commented on the near-divorce while speaking to The Sunday Times in November 2022.
“Let’s just say that it was a very tumultuous time,” he said. “There was a reawakening of what was more valuable than anything, which is my love for my family. It takes precedence over my work, and that was a hard lesson to learn.”

The pair are parents to three children: daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.
They welcomed their eldest daughter, Sophia, on Aug. 27, 1996, in Miami. Sophia graduated from the University of Southern California in May 2019 and now hosts the Unwaxed podcast with Sistine.
Sistine was born in L.A. on June 27, 1998, and is following in her mother’s footsteps, pursuing modeling. She signed with IMG Models in 2016 and has since walked in a Chanel fashion show and appeared on magazine covers like Elle Bulgaria.
Stallone and Flavin's youngest daughter, Scarlet, was born on May 25, 2002, in L.A. She made her New York Fashion Week debut in February 2024, walking in the Tommy Hilfiger show, and graduated from the University of Miami in May 2025.
Flavin has a close relationship with her daughters, often celebrating them on social media. In an August 2022 Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself and the girls embracing and wrote, “These girls are my priority ❤️ nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever.”
Stallone also welcomed two sons during his marriage with actress Sasha Czack: Seargeoh and the late Sage.
Flavin stars in a reality show with her family

In addition to Serious Skin Care, Flavin works on a reality show with her husband and daughters titled The Family Stallone. The Paramount+ series premiered in May 2023 and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Stallones as they navigate their family dynamic and careers.
In November 2022, Stallone told The Hollywood Reporter that his and Flavin’s martial bumps would “of course” be part of the show.
“It’s the John Lennon thing: Life is what happens when you're making other plans,” he explained. “Hopefully you're involved with people who understand the foibles of life and the fragility of it and how rare a real good relationship is.”
Despite their issues at that time, the couple spoke highly of each other in season 1. In one scene, Flavin tells her daughters that she still gets “butterflies” when she sees her husband.
Season 2, which premiered in February 2024, followed Stallone and Flavin as they decided to move from California to Florida.
Before The Family Stallone, Flavin had appeared in Rocky V (1990) and Bar Girls (1990), and worked as a producer on the Tulsa King series (2022-present), per her IMDb page.
