Argentina and Spain will face off in the final of the 2026 World Cup.
Lionel Messi hoping to join the rare company of winning back-to-back World Cup titles while Lamine Yamal is seeking to get Spain its second trophy and first since 2010.
The Argentinian soccer icon broke several records at this World Cup, including becoming the tournament's all-time goal scorer. Messi has 21 goals across six World Cups and leads the Golden Boot race with eight this summer.

Yamal has shattered the record books at FC Barcelona – the club where Messi first made his mark – and is poised to take the World Cup torch, too. He made his tournament debut in Spain's group play draw against Cape Verde. He then powered La Roja with his first World Cup goal when they beat Saudi Arabia.
