Andy Reid is defending Travis Kelce from any claims that the tight end developed a “dad body” after marrying Taylor Swift.

“He looks the same to me that he’s always looked,” Reid admitted.

Swift and Kelce tied the knot in front of hundreds of their loved ones at Madison Square Garden in July.

Travis Kelce is beating the “dad body” allegations, according to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

As the NFL team returns for training camp ahead of Kelce’s 14th season with the Chiefs, his coach expertly fielded a question speculating that Kelce had fallen out of shape after the tight end got married toTaylor Swift in July.

“I know you were in New York City for Travis Kelce’s wedding with Taylor Swift — I know you probably had a ball there — but now that you’re back here on the field again, what do you like from what you’ve seen from him?” NFL network host Jeffri Chadiha asked the three-time Super Bowl champion head coach.

Reid praised Kelce’s performance so far, unbothered by any reports of the tight end having a “dad body,” appearing to refer to a video that seemed AI-generated circulating online, reportedly depicting that Kelce had gained weight.

“Well, he came back in good shape. I know everybody’s out there saying he’s got the ‘dad body’ and all this stuff, but he looks the same to me that he’s always looked,” he said, adding that Kelce has been “just playing like crazy” and “doing a nice job with everything” since training camp started in late July.

“He’s focused in and ready to go and I appreciate that,” Reid admitted, saying that Kelce has “been here 14 years and wants to be out there every snap.”

Reid concluded, “He’s gonna play and play hard, aggressive, and not be stopped.”

Reid was one of the many guests at Swift and Kelce’s star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3. The coach opened up about the experience, which included Adam Sandlerserving as the ceremony’s officiant.

“In a simple, hysterical way, he was phenomenal,” Reid said during an event in Salt Lake City on July 5, per The Deseret News.

“He’s crazy, but he did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humor. But, that part there I thought, pretty good advice, in its simplest form,” he added.

The coach also shared the words of wisdom that the Billy Madisonstar gave Swift and Kelce. “He told them, ‘Keep kissing.’ So, in its simplest form, that’s a good thing. It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or your wife gives you a kiss. And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won’t have problems.”
