The Kelce brothers discussed Swift’s viral moment and shared memes about it on the most recent episode of their New Heights podcast

Travis Kelce feels a duty as Taylor Swift‘s husband.

After Kelce, 36, scored his first touchdown of the NFL season during the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 20, Swift was seen celebrating with friends and family in a private box at Arrowhead Stadium.

Footage of the moment captured Swift cheering before holding up her hand, pointing to her wedding ring and declaring, “That’s my husband!”

On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Travis and his older brother, Jason Kelce, discussed the moment on the new episode of their New Heights podcast.

“Just doing my deed as a husband,” Travis, who tied the knot with Swift on July 3, said. “Listen man, proud wife, baby. Gotta make my girl proud,” he added.

The brothers also checked out a series of memes made from Swift’s viral moment.

“Internet’s having a good ole time with this s—,” Travis said, laughing.

“These are awesome,” Jason agreed.

They read out several of the “That’s my husband” memes, including “My neurosurgeon breadwinner wife watching me shotgun my eleventh beer of the night,” “My girl when the tour guide at the historical site says I asked very good questions,” and “My wife when I figure out which alarm was tripping due to low battery and swipe it out.”

The Chiefs pulled out a win against the Colts, and Travis also scored his own record-breaking moment.

He managed to score the most yards after catch of all time, beating out Marshall Faulk for the record with 6,288 yards.

“This is by far the craziest thing and honestly one of the coolest accomplishments I’ve ever had,” Travis told his brother of breaking the record. “I had no idea I was even in the ballpark. I didn’t know I was top 5, top 10, ever. I would have guessed there was so many more.”

He went on to credit his teammates, saying, “You don’t get this kind of stuff without having the guys around you to help you get these yards, but at the same time, man, it’s a pretty cool stat to be a part of. When I’ve got the ball in my hands, I’m doing the most I can with it. It’s proven throughout the history of the NFL that I’ve been pretty good at it.”

Jason praised his brother, saying, “I think it’s the greatest record you have!”
