Every move Prince William and Kate Middleton make attracts national attention, and recently, they have been trending after stepping out for the London world premiere of Tom Cruise’s film. Amid all this, while the couple received plenty of reactions from the public, the actor also shared his thoughts, which have now caught attention.

Recently, on Friday, September 25, 2026, the Hollywood actor appeared on The Graham Norton Show, where he was asked about Prince William and Kate Middleton attending the premiere of his new film, Digger. During the conversation, Tom Cruise complimented the couple for attending the premiere.

According to the People’s coverage, Cruise said, “They are amazing — very charismatic. I had such a good time.”

For context, this is not the first time Prince William and Kate Middleton have attended a Tom Cruise movie premiere. Previously, in May 2022, the royal couple joined the Hollywood actor for the premiere of his movie Top Gun: Maverick. During the event, a video also went viral showing the 64-year-old offering his hand to the Princess to help her up the steps.

With the Digger movie premiere, the Hollywood actor and the royal couple have now attended two of his movie premieres. However, if we count their overall movie premiere appearances, they have attended eight premieres so far. Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first red carpet appearance at a film premiere came in 2012 for War Horse.

Talking about Tom Cruise’s film Digger, it is set to receive its theatrical release on October 2, 2026. Apart from the Mission: Impossible star, the movie’s cast includes Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Jesse Plemons. Alejandro González Iñárritu directed the movie, while Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures are the studios behind it.
