Tom Brady is sharing how he stays undercover at his kids' sporting events.

During his appearance on the Tuesday, March 17 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the retired football quarterback, 48, shared how much he loves attending his children's sporting events, despite potentially "irritating" them. He also shared how he ensures the "attention" stays "focused" on them and not their superstar dad.

"I'm probably pretty irritating to them," the proud dad admitted to Fallon with a laugh. "They want me to stand outside the arena when they're playing. They're like, 'Dad, don't come in here.'"

"But I love watching 'em play," he added. "I always kind of, especially when I go to the opposing schools, [wear] the hat, hoodie, [and go] as far down, as far away from every other parent. Because you just want the attention focused on the kids, and that's where it should be."

Brady is a father of three children: daughter Vivian, 13, and sons Benjamin, 16, and Jack, 18. He welcomed his younger children with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, and his eldest son with ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan. Back in July, for an entry of his weekly newsletter, Brady penned a message about finding fulfillment in life outside of the sports world. Brady also opened up about what he believes makes him a "great father."

"I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family," he explained. "I chose to do it by playing football."

"My dedication to the sport, the hours of practice, the moments when I was laser focused — those were times when I believe I was doing the best possible thing for my family and my kids, by prioritizing my profession and teaching, by example, what it takes to be really good at your job, what it takes to follow through on commitments, what it takes to be a great teammate; and showing them, also by example, that work is a big part of all of our lives."

The former professional athlete recently spent some quality time with his younger children abroad. Brady recapped his latest family vacation to Milan with several snaps on Instagram, posing alongside his daughter Vivian and son Benjamin. Brady captioned the images with a sweet message about their exciting trip to Italy for the 2026 Winter Olympics.

"We had the BEST trip to Milan 🇮🇹 to cheer on some incredible sports stars while spending quality time exploring and learning from so many new people and places!" he wrote in the caption. "Relationships are built on shared experience and there is nothing like finding new cities to spend time with the people you love (just missing you Jack during basketball season back at home ❤️)."

"From our @Delta family to @zlatan and @acmilan , the hospitality in this beautiful city made it so enjoyable from the moment we arrived. Great sports, great food (I won the gold medal for pizza on this trip 😂), and even better people," Brady added. "I always love the time to connect, learn, and share moments like this! Until next time. Gracie Millie ❤️❤️❤️."

No matter where he is in the world, Brady always keeps his children close. The doting dad posted a snap of himself on his Instagram Stories on Thursday, Oct. 2. In it, he showed off a necklace that had each of his children's names engraved on it.

In text over the photo, Brady shared a sweet sentiment about keeping his children close to him always: "Forever in my heart ❤️❤️❤️."
