*The Last of Us* has found its new Manny to take over for Danny Ramirez in season 3.

Jorge Lendeborg Jr., of the Tom Holland-led *Spider-Man* movies, is set to portray the role moving forward, ** has learned. He joins fellow newcomer Clea Duvall (*But I'm a Cheerleader*, *The Faculty*), who'll play an undisclosed Seraphite.

Ramirez portrayed Manny, a member of Abby's (Kaitlyn Dever) crew, back in season 2. As previously reported, the actor had to drop out due to scheduling.

During the events of *The Last of Us*, the HBO TV adaptation of the mega-popular video games from Naughty Dog, Manny was present in Jackson to assist Abby in the execution of Joel (Pedro Pascal) as a ripple effect from what happened in the season 1 finale. Season 2 chronicled Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and her mission to find and kill Abby, which came to a head with an intense reunion in the most recent finale.

Season 3 will now go back in time to retell the events prior to Abby's lingering gunshot, this time from her perspective.

In addition to the *Spider-Man* movies, Lendeborg has appeared in the rom-com *Love, Simon*, the *Transformers* spinoff *Bumblebee*, James Cameron's *Alita: Battle Angel*, the Netflix vampire flick *Night Teeth*, and *American Carnage* opposite Jenna Ortega.********

As for Duvall's role, the Seraphites were introduced in season 2 as a religious cult at war in Seattle with the Washington Liberation Front, which is headed by Jeffrey Wright's Isaac and includes Abby and her team.

After serving as joint showrunner with video game co-creator Neil Druckmann in seasons 1 and 2, Craig Mazin now operates as the sole showrunner on *The Last of Us*. When asked if season 3 would be the final season, HBO CEO Casey Bloys recently told Deadline Hollywood, "It certainly seems that way, but on decisions like that, we will defer to the showrunners. So you can ask them."
