Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce found a blank space and filled it.
The singer-songwriter and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, tied the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3. The following day on Saturday, July 4, one of their wedding guests, country music star Maren Morris, shared a sentimental detail from the celebration.
Alongside glam photos with fellow wedding guest and country singer Kelsea Ballerini, Morris posted a photo on Instagram of an ivory handkerchief trimmed with lace and embroidered with a monogram in the center incorporating the first initials of the bride and groom. On either side of the monogram were the couple's wedding date and location in cursive. Below the monogram were the embroidered lyrics "So it's gonna be forever..." from Swift's 2014 song "Blank Space," the second single from her fifth studio album, 1989.

"Baby just say yes," Morris, 36, wrote. Her caption is a romantic lyric from Swift's song "Love Story," which was first released in 2008 and reimagined in 2021 for Fearless (Taylor’s Version).
The lyrics on the handkerchief may initially appear as an odd choice because the next line of the song is, "Or it's gonna go down in flames." However, real fans know that "Blank Space" is one of Kelce's favorite songs by his bride.
In June 2024, Kelce appeared on Will Compton and Taylor Lewan's Bussin' With The Boys podcast, where he shared that "Blank Space" is one of his top three songs by Swift. The song was inspired by the media scrutiny of Swift's love life.

Kelce explained that he didn't really start listening to Swift's music until "she came out with 1989." He said, "I think 1989 was where it really started to go crazy."
"So I'm going to say 'Blank Space' because that was the first one. So I'm going to put that at No. 1," the NFL star said of his ranking at the time.

Just a few hours before the wedding, Morris appeared on the Today show, where she said it would be challenging to get Swift a wedding gift. She joked, "What do you get? That'd be a hard person to buy for."
The "My Church" artist then said that she was "so happy" for Swift and Kelce, adding that their wedding "is such an incredible thing." She said, "I think she has such a close tie to New York, and, yeah, I'm so excited for them to celebrate their love. It's so cool."
