Taylor Swift is giving husband Travis Kelce and his hometown a little love.

The pop superstar, 36, released “Cleveland!” on Friday, Sept. 25, as one of four new songs on The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore — and the title has an especially notable connection to her 36-year-old husband.

Kelce grew up in Ohio — he was was born and raised in Cleveland Heights — with his older brother Jason Kelce, making the new track title an unmistakable nod to his Midwestern roots.

“He already took me to Cleveland, and showed me The Heights, so hate all you like, this is the love of my life,” Swift sings on the track.

She also references the pair’s nuptials after they married at Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026.

In an altered chorus towards the end of the song, Swift sings, “He already took me to Cleveland, now I’m wearing white, so hate all you like, this is the love of my life.”

Kelce was born and raised in Cleveland Heights before attending the University of Cincinnati. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013 and has spent his entire NFL career with the team, winning three Super Bowls in five appearances.

Off the field, he co-hosts the New Heights podcast with Jason, 38, and has branched into acting and television hosting. He began dating Swift in 2023 and the pair announced their engagement in August 2025.

The NFL star has long been an avid Cleveland sports fan, and he has also invested in his hometown team’s future. Kelce purchased a minority ownership stake in the Cleveland Guardians, adding another Cleveland connection to his growing list.

And the Cleveland Cavaliers were quick to get in on the fun.

After Swift announced the expanded edition of The Life of a Showgirl on Wednesday, Sept. 23, the NBA team shared a post featuring Swift and Kelce from one of their recent Cleveland date nights.

“Keepin’ it 💯 in the Land, always. #LetEmKnow,” the Cavs Instagram account posted alongside a black-and-white clip of the couple courtside at Rocket Arena.

The track is part of The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, a surprise expansion of Swift’s 2025 album featuring four new songs. Along with “Cleveland!,” the new edition includes “Patient Zero,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.”

Swift announced “Patient Zero” on Tuesday, Sept. 22, before revealing the full four-song expansion the following day. On Thursday, Sept. 24, she shared a 13-second teaser for the song’s music video on CBS Mornings, which stars Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. The cinematic visual will premiere in full during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Sept. 27.

“About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made.”
