It’s time to get sleuthing, Swifties!
In a recent *Variety* interview, Emmys executive producer Jesse Collins confirmed that Taylor Swift asked to sprinkle in a few Easter eggs while making her cameo in a pre-recorded* Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* sketch that aired during the ceremony. (The awards show was hosted by Emmy-winning *SVU* star Mariska Hargitay.)
“Taylor loved the script and she had some thoughts and we worked that in,” he said. When asked what the Grammy winner’s notes were, Collins replied, “The Easter eggs. She wanted them to be really official. And correct.”

The executive told the outlet that the hidden messages Swift requested be included were some of the hints and notations that she shared during the hilarious scene, which featured the *SVU* cast attempting to deduce whether or not the “Fate of Ophelia” singer would attend the Emmys.
While the segment poked fun at Swift’s ongoing lore, her fanbase raised the alarm bells that the artist may *genuinely* be teasing something when she revealed in the sketch that “what we’re gonna be looking for is hiding in plain sight.”

Swift then turned directly to the camera and cryptically added, “Saccharide. Aries. From the vineyard. North or South.”
When her costars questioned Swift’s strange announcement, the musician simply responded, “…I didn’t say anything.”

As for what *that* could mean? Well, Swifties are still trying to decode that, but a few have speculated that “from the vineyard” could be a reference to Swift releasing more “from the vault” tracks. Others have suggested that “Aries” might be teasing that new music could be released during Aries season, which runs from March 21 through April 19.
Despite the Law & Order cast’s detective work, Swift did not actually attend the Emmys outside of the sketch. Instead, she was seen attending husband Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game, where Swift sat with her pal, Tom Cruise.
