Sydney Sweeney is signaling support for her brother-in-arms.

The "Euphoria" star, 28, took to Instagram Wednesday, March 25, to share a photo of she and her brother video-chatting while he was overseas as part of his service. Sweeney's brother Trent, a member of the U.S. military, is currently deployed.

In her stories post, Sweeney shared a photo of her FaceTiming with her brother, who was in uniform. "Receiving calls from my bro always make me happy when he's deployed," she wrote alongside the picture, adding: "Thinking of all our boys and girls overseas and sending my love! Thank you for your service :)"

Trent and Sydney Sweeney attend the "Christy" Headline Gala at the 69th BFI London Film Festival at The Royal Festival Hall on Oct. 17, 2025, in London.

Trent Sweeney is a member of the U.S. Air Force, and the "Christy" actress' only sibling. Her post honoring American troops comes amid the U.S. and Israel's joint war with Iran.

President Donald Trump is maintaining that the United States and Iran are in talks to end the war, even as leaders in Tehran vow no negotiations are underway.

"They want to make a deal so badly, but they're afraid to say it, because they figure they'll be killed by their own people," Trump said Wednesday evening at a fundraising event. "They're also afraid they'll be killed by us."

Sweeney's political alliances have been a hot-button issue throughout her career as fans have rushed to classify her as a member of the MAGA right. The "Housemaid" star has insisted, however, that her job is to create art and remain apolitical.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan in January, Sweeney said: "I've never been here to talk about politics. I've always been here to make art, so this is just not a conversation I want to be at the forefront of."

She continued: "People want to take it even further and use me as their own pawn. But it's somebody else assigning something to me, and I can't control that."
