Raiders add 6-foot-5 former Giants starting fullback

The Raiders have a day off on Wednesday. And they took the short break to make a few roster moves. This included the addition of TE Chris Myarick.
The last time Myarick saw work in an NFL game was 2022 with the Giants in which he appeared in 16 games while starting eight at the fullback position.
That's not the usual role for this 6-5, 261-pounder. The rest of his career has been as a tight end. Very much the blocking kind. And that looks to be the position at which the Raiders will line him up.

Myarick originally went undrafted out of Temple in 2019 and signed with the Dolphins. He spent two seasons in Miami, appearing in 11 games with three starts.
The past three seasons, he has not played in an NFL game, but has bounced around on offseason rosters and practice squads for the Giants, Jaguars, Texans, and Dolphins.
In corresponding moves, the Raiders undrafted rookie S Tanner Wall and recently added TE Zack Kuntz.
