Prymrr is taking her new music on the road this month, and a camera crew will capture what happens offstage.

The singer and entertainer opens her Sick of It Tour on October 11 in Los Angeles, then plays Brooklyn, New York, on Oct. 21 and Chicago on October 22. Production company nX Productions will film the run for a documentary about the tour.

The three-city schedule is compact. After the West Coast opener, the tour heads east for back-to-back nights in Brooklyn and Chicago. That quick turnaround is the kind of pressure a behind-the-scenes film is designed to catch.

The documentary will reach well beyond the concerts. Cameras are expected to follow rehearsals, travel days, backstage moments and the logistics of moving a live production from one city to the next. Those are the parts of touring that rarely reach the public.

The film could give longtime followers a different view of an artist many know mainly through a screen. Prymrr built her audience across music, dance, and online entertainment. In those spaces, fans usually see the finished product: a released song, a styled photo, a performance clip chosen for posting.

A documentary leaves room for the effort, uncertainty and routine that happen in between.

The tour also signals a change in tone. Promotional material for Sick of It relies on a stark red, black, and white palette, oversized streetwear, and a defiant attitude. It is a clear break from cleaner, pop-style imagery. The title suggests an artist with something to say, and the documentary gives her a format for showing the experiences behind the public persona.

Prymrr has performed since childhood. In recent years, though, she has concentrated on establishing herself as a recording artist. Her latest singles, "Alert" and "Pop Out," have added to a growing catalog. The tour moves those songs off streaming services and social media and in front of live audiences, a step the documentary is meant to record as it unfolds.

Taken together, the music, visuals, concerts and film are turning Sick of It into more than the name of a tour. The project is shaping up as a broader creative chapter for Prymrr, one that presents both the performer under the lights and the person handling everything required to get her there each night.

Tickets for all three dates are available through X1 Entertainment.
