Princess Diana made shock ‘confession' about Mohamed Al Fayed says brother

Earl Spencer has disclosed one startling "confession" his late sister, Diana, Princess of Wales, shared with him before her tragic death.

The cherished royal passed away at age 36 in 1997, with her younger brother now set to publish his new book, Swan Song, on Tuesday.

The 62-year-old's forthcoming book contains revelations about his late sister and explosive details regarding her troubled marriage to now-King Charles.

In one section of the book, the Earl describes how Diana confided in him about being groped by Mohamed Al Fayed during the initial stages of her relationship with his son Dodi.

Dodi also perished alongside Diana in the car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997.

Mohamed, who passed away aged 94 in 2023, has been the subject of more than 400 allegations of sexual misconduct.

The Earl reportedly wrote in Swan Song, "[Diana] told me with revulsion how, early in her romance with Dodi, Mohamed had come up to her, dropped a hand onto her buttocks and squeezed them while saying in a leery, suggestive tone, 'And in Egypt, father-in-law gets first go...'"

Al Fayed had previously commissioned a bronze statue of Diana and Dodi for display at Harrods when he owned the upscale department store. It was titled Innocent Victims.

In his explosive memoir, the Earl disclosed that he thanked Dodi for "making Diana happy in her last few weeks" in his eulogy, but deleted it before delivering it.

Among the allegations regarding the now-King Charles, the Earl asserted that the monarch told him, mere days following Diana's death, that the world would "forget her soon enough".

Addressing Prince William and Prince Harry, though without going into specifics, the Earl mentioned during his recent BBC interview that the allegations concerning their father "will not be a surprise to them".

He told the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg, "I don't like to talk about what I've been speaking about to William and Harry, but this will not be a surprise to them. I will tell you that these words will not be a surprise to them."
