Little Mix will reunite in the future, but who will make the lineup?

In a new interview with Attitude, Perrie Edwards said a Little Mix reunion is "100 percent" in the cards and noted the group's return will "definitely" only feature three members.

"I’m ready and raring," said Edwards, 32,. "We always message each other and are bantering like, 'So how long until we do a reunion? Are we going to do one? Where is it?' I’m like, just give me a ballpark time. Do you know what I mean? Just let me know when."

Little Mix was formed on The X Factor UK in 2011 as a quartet featuring Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson. One month after the group released its sixth album, Confetti, in November 2020, Nelson announced her exit from the group to focus on her mental health.

As for whether the full Little Mix lineup would come back together in the future, Edwards told Attitude an eventual reunion would feature "definitely a three" person unit.

Nelson, 34, spoke about her experience in Little Mix as well as tension that followed her exit from the group in a Prime Video docuseries titled Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix earlier this year. In an interview with The Sun around its release, Nelson pondered the idea of rejoining Little Mix for a reunion.

"We’re all mums now [aside from Thirlwall] and I can’t speak on behalf of them, but I’d like to think that we probably see things a lot differently now," she told the outlet at the time. "I think you do, just as you get older anyway, but you know, never say never. I have so much love for them and always will."

In February, Pinnock, 34, told PEOPLE the three remaining members of Little Mix reconnected with Nelson after the "Boyz" singer announced her twin daughters Ocean Jade and Story Monroe were diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).

“We've obviously all reached out and [are] just sending all just love, strength, positivity,” said Pinnock, a mom to twin daughters with husband Andre Gray, of Nelson. “I just think she's just incredible just to even raise awareness.”

The development came after Nelson told The Sun in 2023 that she hadn't spoken to her Little Mix bandmates in two years.
