And this is why I don’t watch sports media, how dumb.

Max Kellerman, a former host for ESPN, has made the asinine claim that the Cleveland Cavaliers trading for James Harden is a mistake apparently on the same level as us Americans voting President Donald Trump into the White House.

ā€œBringing in James Harden to win a championship is like electing Donald Trump to fix your country,ā€ stated Kellerman on the ā€œGame Overā€ podcast Wednesday, per OutKick. (RELATED: ā€˜Face Of Clickbait Media’: Celtics’ Jaylen Brown Blasts ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith As Beef Escalates)

The ridiculousness from Kellerman followed Cleveland blowing a 22-point lead in the fourth quarter Tuesday night against the New York Knicks. The two are squaring off in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Harden finished with just 15 points on 5-for-16 shooting, while only going 1-for-8 from behind the three-point line. On top of that, he also had 6 turnovers in the game. Yeah, trash.

But worthy of this nonsense?

It doesn’t matter how you feel about Trump, I think we all can agree that this comparison is stupid, and honestly, what was the point of even bringing Trump up?

It’s such a random comparison to make, and maybe a little evidence that left-wing politics has rotted Kellermanā€˜s mind. Look, Max, just relax and stay focused on sports. Listen to a little ā€œIcemanā€ from Drake. Everything will be okay.

Politics ain’t for everybody, brother, and that’s you.
