A report by RadarOnline suggests that Hamilton’s mom, Carmen Larbalestier, is not completely accepting of her son’s relationship with the fashion mogul. The F1 racer opted out of attending the Oscars with his rumored girlfriend. This was because he had to race in the Chinese Grand Prix. This ultimately gave him some time to spend with his mother. Apparently, Larbalestier and Hamilton went horseback riding before he went on to compete in the race.

According to an insider, Hamilton and his mother are “incredibly” close, and thus, her opinions matter a lot to him. This could be a problem for his and Kardashian’s relationship, as his mother allegedly believes that he would be better off with someone “more low-key and private.” However, given the kind of business the Kardashian and Jenner family is known for, this could be a concern for Hamilton’s mom.

A source said, “Her opinion carries a lot of weight with him, so this is definitely something that should worry Kim.” The insider also mentioned that they don’t believe his mom is going to directly tell him what to do.
