Kyle Richards Reveals Where She’s Currently at When It Comes to Dating After Mauricio Umansky Split (Exclusive)

Kyle Richards spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about where she's currently at when it comes to dating

PEOPLE confirmed in July 2023 that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, had separated after 27 years of marriage

The pair share three children: Alexia, Sophia and Portia Umansky, as well as Kyle's daughter from her first marriage, Farrah Brittany

Kyle Richards is sharing an update on her relationship status.

While chatting with PEOPLE at the An Unforgettable Evening charity event in Los Angeles on March 11, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills revealed that she is currently single.

PEOPLE confirmed in July 2023 that Kyle, 57, and husband Mauricio Umansky had separated after 27 years of marriage. A source told PEOPLE at the time that they "remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family." The pair share three children: Alexia, 29, Sophia, 26, and Portia Umansky, 18, as well as Kyle's daughter from her first marriage, Farrah Brittany, 37.

While confirming her single status, Kyle told PEOPLE her personal life was taking a back seat to her career endeavors.

"All I do is work," she explained. "I started my production company, House of 18, and I have four TV shows in development [that I'm] producing. So I'm just really excited about that, and I've been acting."

She continued: "I just did Lincoln Lawyer. I just did another show. So just keeping acting and producing going while I'm doing the Housewives and just wearing a lot of hats, but keeping myself busy."

In October, Kyle told PEOPLE that she "of course" would like to settle down with someone in the future. "I hope to get married again one day," she said. "I mean, listen, I'm someone who really enjoys being married. So I won't be single my whole life."

During the Dec. 11 episode of RHOBH, Kyle shared in a confessional that she was in a relationship with someone she “fell hard for” after her separation from Mauricio, 55. Addressing why she chose to keep the relationship private from her Bravo costars, she explained that she wanted to respect her former partner's desire for privacy.

“When I’m in love with somebody, I want to share that. I’m an open person like that,” she said in the confessional. “That doesn’t mean the person I’m with feels the same way. All the speculation and the gossip and the talking is ultimately what ended it. I could’ve weathered the storm, but this is not for everyone.”

While Kyle did not reveal specifically who she was talking about, she previously sparked romance rumors with singer Morgan Wade in 2023 after appearing in her music video for the song "Fall in Love with Me."

As for Mauricio, he previously told PEOPLE that he's in his "era of being single" and that his daughters were giving him dating advice.

"They always talk to me about it," the real estate agent said of his dating life. "The biggest advice that they give from their perspective is: 'Dad, we want you to be happy. We want you to enjoy yourself, but be age-appropriate.' "

"They try," he continued. "They want me not to be photographed and be out there, particularly with somebody I'm just on a first date with or something like that."
