Kourtney Kardashian Barker is sharing a little bit about how she approaches being a stepmom to her husband Travis Barker's three older kids

The Lemme co-founder is stepmom to Barker's daughter Alabama, stepdaughter Atiana, and son Landon

Kardashian Barker also said she and stepdaughter Alabama are "super close"

Kourtney Kardashian Barker is getting candid about how she handles being a stepmom to her husband Travis Barker's three older kids.

On this week's episode of The Kardashians, the Lemme co-founder, 46, joined her stepdaughter Alabama, 19, to film an intro for her Twitch stream. As Kardashian Barker spoke about her priorities for the week, she opened up about how close she is with her stepdaughter.

“Alabama and I are super close, I’ve known her since she was 8 years old,” says Kardashian Barker. “I love being there for her to support her. I love that she asked me, that she thinks I’m cool enough to be in her video."

"With the older kids I try to be there for them as a friend and I try to be there in a motherly way as much or as little as they are wanting," she continues. "I don’t wanna be overbearing, but I love being there for them — to give them advice when they ask me, or spend time with them when they want to. Just in any way that I can.”

Kardashian Barker is stepmom to husband Barker's three older kids — daughter Alabama, stepdaughter Atiana, 26, and son Landon, 22, whom Barker shares with ex Shanna Moakler. She is also mom to daughter Penelope, 12, and sons Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick. Barker and Kardashian Barker are also parents to son Rocky Thirteen, 23 months.

Earlier this month, Kardashian Barker celebrated her stepson on his 22nd birthday, sharing a few photos on her social media.

Alongside two photos of herself posing with Landon, husband Barker and Alabama, Kardashian Barker called her stepson “a light in my life.”

“Happy birthday @landonbarker 22!!🎈love you forever,” she added in the Instagram caption.

In the first photo, the blended family could be seen dressed in red and black as Kardashian Barker stuck her tongue out and Landon and Alabama flipped off the camera. This was followed by a shot of them all pouting as Landon and Alabama flashed peace signs and their dad took his turn to flip off the camera.

In April 2023, Alabama celebrated Kardashian Barker's birthday, sharing a few photos of the two of them and opening up about their relationship in her caption.

"Happy birthday Kourt," Alabama wrote alongside a photo of The Kardashians star sitting on the Blink-182 drummer's lap while on a plane. "You're the best stepmom I could ask for, you are so caring and generous for others, you are such a family person and such a hard-working mom."

"Even if you don't feel good or had a hard day, you always put your family first," the teen shared. "You have such a beautiful aura, I wouldn't want another step mom."
