Kimberly Van Der Beek is celebrating her daughter Emilia's birthday with a sweet photo of her little girl and late husband James Van Der Beek.
On Thursday, March 26, the mom of six, 44, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of her daughter Emilia, 10, and her late husband James posing together.
In the snap, posted in honor of Emilia's birthday, the Dawson's Creek star could be seen wearing a fur-lined jacket, sweater and cap, leaning into his daughter. Emilia had her arms on her dad's shoulders, wearing an oversized sweatshirt and giving a soft smile.
"Just a few heavenly months ago. Missing you my love," Kimberly wrote over the photo.

Kimberly and James share six kids together — Olivia, 15, Joshua, 13, Annabel, 12, Emilia, Gwendolyn, 7, and Jeremiah, 4.
Earlier this month, Emilia spoke out about her grief almost one month after her father's death. She reflected on losing her dad, who died following a journey with stage 3 colorectal cancer at age 48 on Feb. 11.

"As you will probably know, my dad has passed away," Emilia began, before she said she was going to share "little tips" to help others "[get] through anybody you love passing."
"So today is my dad's birthday, and the number one thing for somebody's passing is to talk to them and let your emotions out," she said. "If you miss them, you can cry. You can talk to them. I talk to my dad every day. I start with a sentence, and I say, 'Hi, Dad. I miss you and I love you so much, and I'll never stop loving you.' "
"I just tell him about my day, how I'm feeling, and I told my family how I'm feeling. And I know he can hear me, but I can't hear him," added Emilia.
She further explained in the video how she processes her grief, saying, "You have to feel them in your heart, because they're in your heart. They're watching over you. They're a part of your body and in a good place."
"I know that my dad's in a good place," she added. "He's not in pain anymore. He's in heaven above the clouds with God and the Lord."
James first announced his cancer diagnosis exclusively with PEOPLE in November 2024, saying he was focusing on his health and family. The cancer was discovered after a routine colonoscopy in August 2023.
In February, Kimberly announced the news of James' death through an Instagram post. Sharing a professional photo of the actor, she wrote, "Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning. He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace."
