Kelly Osbourne doesn’t have warm and fuzzy feelings toward her big sister, Aimee Osbourne.

During her Tuesday appearance on the *We Need to Talk* podcast, Kelly, 41, admitted that, although she’s always had a close bond with her brother Jack, 40, she and Aimee, 43, are “polar opposites” and don’t really have a relationship.

“It was always me and Jack. If I’m honest, my older sister didn’t really ever acknowledge me and my brother,” the *Osbournes* alum told host Paul C. Brunson. “She was just in her own world doing her own thing. I do, to a certain extent, if I’m honest, feel as though she’s embarrassed of us.”

When asked whether Aimee was also embarrassed by their parents, Sharon Osbourne and the late Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly said, “The whole family.” (Ozzy also shared three children, Louis, Jessica, and Elliot, with ex-wife Thelma Riley.)

“I’ll never really truly understand [why],” she continued. “It just felt that way. We’re very different. Everything I am, she’s not. Everything she is, I’m not. Like, you couldn’t be more polar opposite. We’re like oil and water.”

During the chat with Brunson, Kelly confirmed that Aimee lived in the guest house of the Osbournes’ family home while they filmed their eponymous reality show, which ran from 2002 to 2005. Kelly said she did not want to speak on behalf of Aimee as to why she decided not to appear on the series, insisting, “We’re not close, but I do respect her enough to keep her anonymity, if you understand.”

“I believe there is a reason for everything,” Kelly stated. “[The show] just wasn’t meant to be for her.”

Kelly admitted the lack of a relationship with Aimee is “one of the hardest things of my life” and that she harbors some “resentment” since she’s never had the big sister she’s always craved. Kelly claimed there’s no hope for a reconciliation, vehemently shaking her head when asked about the possibility, and added, “I respect her, I accept her, but we’re different, and that’s okay.”

“If you’re not going to accept me for who I am, and constantly be trying to change me and say horrible things about me, and truly seem to thrive when I’m not doing well, I don’t want you in my life,” Kelly added.

Kelly also admitted that although she and Jack used to “do everything together” and were “very, very, very, very close,” their bond has recently changed. She said it’s due to her decision to move back to the U.K. from L.A. as she continues to grieve their father, who died in July 2025 of cardiac arrest and an acute myocardial infarction.

“Me living here now and choosing to separate myself a little and kind of rediscover myself, it’s not like it’s caused a wedge between us, but I would say that the family is a little bit upset that I have decided to go home and figure out me for a while,” Kelly said, referencing her decision to leave the U.S. with her 3-year-old son, Sidney, following her split from his father and her ex-fiancé Sid Wilson. “And, I get it. Because I don’t want to miss out on anything that my nieces are doing but I also am a mother, and I have my own responsibilities and my own life to live. And I’m taking this time to be a it selfish.”

Kelly said Jack is a devoted father to his daughters—Pearl, 14, Andy, 11, and Minnie, 8, with ex-wife Lisa Stelly and Maple, 4, and Ozzy, 6 months, with wife Aree Gearhart—and that she’ll always have a special connection to her brother.

For his part, Jack told *The Sun* last month that his sister seems to be “in a happier place and she’s got a good routine going.”

Jack concluded, “She’s focusing on her and her son.”
