Gabourey Sidibe, 42, and her husband, Brandon Frankel, took their twins, Maya and Cooper, to Disney on Ice Presents Let’s Dance! at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Dec. 20.
The family of four was photographed with smiles on their faces while they posed with Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse. The 1-year-old twins were distracted by the cartoon characters, as both turned to face the character performer dressed as Mickey’s sweetheart.

Frankel gave a behind-the-scenes look at the family event on Instagram, sharing a video of the twins meeting the two cartoon characters. The toddlers were seen dancing with the costumed performers as Sidibe encouraged them to interact.
“Their reactions did not disappoint,” the proud dad wrote in the caption. “I’ve been looking forward to this for a month — the way they get excited when they see their Mickey and Minnie stuffies…not realizing they’re not just toys (no screen time) is adorable. ... they were so stoked! 🥹❤️.”
Frankel also reshared the video on his Instagram Stories, writing, "Big big day for the twins yesterday getting to meet two of their favorite celebs.”
Frankel also shared the family photo on his Instagram Stories, writing, "Clearly Minnie was more important than the camera… and I get it.” He tagged Sidibe in the post and added a red heart emoji.
For the outing, Sidibe wore a long pink-and-red dress for the outing with pink shoes, while Frankel kept it casual in black pants and a brown shirt. He also wore white sneakers, a mustard yellow beanie and had a bag slung over his shoulder.
The twins matched in stylish letterman jackets. Maya wore a pink and gray jacket with black pants and black sneakers, and Cooper rocked a navy and gray jacket with navy pants and black sneakers.
Sidibe and Frankel tied the knot in March 2021, four months after getting engaged. They welcomed their twins in April 2024.
Sidibe had her breakthrough role in 2009’s Precious, which earned her an Oscar nomination. She also starred in the comedy Tower Heist, and the television shows The Big C, American Horror Story and Empire.

This year, the actress starred in Lifetime's Give Me Back My Daughter.
The mom of two shared a picture on Instagram in November of Cooper and Maya on the set of a new project she's directing. The snap showed her holding both of her twins while standing next to her director's chair.

"The twins visited me on set the other day. They STILL aren't allowed to watch screens tho," she captioned her post.
Frankel showed some love to his wife in the comments, writing, "Getting to watch them visit you at work and you simultaneously be a boss lady and the best mom is such an honor ❤️🥹."
