Elon Musk breaks up with Neuralink boss as she exposes his intimate messages

Elon Musk's partner and baby mama Shivon Zilis said the businessman, who is the richest man on earth, ended their relationship with "no warning," as she says she loved him "more than life itself."
Zilis took to X on Friday, hours after social media users noticed he had stopped following her on the platform he owns, to tell her followers about her heartbreak amid the ended relationship. Zilis is an executive for Musk's brain implant startup Neuralink.
"I've loved him more than life itself and he's taught me 100 lifetimes of knowledge and made my cup overflow with life meaning, so there is a lot of loss, but luckily we created four beautiful little loves of my life," the 40-year-old woman wrote.

"I am so beyond grateful for our children and they make every single day the best day of my life! I do hope and pray he and I can be great friends and coparents," she added.
Zilis and Musk are believed to have started their relationship in 2016, embarking on a secret affair. In her statement, she called the billionaire a "tortured soul."
"I feel happy that I got to show Elon how it feels to be deeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness," she wrote.
"I loved being that counterbalancing place of safety, sense of calm, and love - and delighted in bringing a smile back to his face when he was down. I will miss him dearly," she added.
Explaining that she was blindsided by the breakup, Zilis- who has four children with Musk- posted screenshots of private messages with Musk, explaining that the two had been sharing loving messages up until last week.

"It was really wonderful to see you for breakfast. Love you very much," she texted him. "Love you too. I didn't realize that this Xi dinner included significant other (Beijing one did not) or I would have invited you," he replied on Sept. 24.
Zilis ended her post by writing: "I'm hurting, but care deeply about E and will always be cheering for his happiness. God speed, Elon, the world is lucky to have you."
Musk has not yet commented on the breakup. It also remains unclear why he broke up with her.
The post comes as Zilis posted a cryptic message on Sept. 27 that read: "New day, new life." She did not offer an explanation about her message.
Zilis, who was born in Canada, met Musk through OpenAI in 2015. She said their relationship started as a "one-off" at a corporate event. It turned into a full romantic relationship in 2016.
In 2020, she said she decided to have children as a single mom. That is when Musk "offered to make a donation" as a platonic sperm donor. Their twins, Strider and Azure, were born in November 2021. Their third child, Arcadia, was born in June 2024, and their fourth son, Seldon Lycurgus, was born in February 2025.
