Elite WR recruit decommits from Georgia football
Three-star wide receiver recruit Aden Starling has decommitted from the Georgia Bulldogs. Starling had been committed to Georgia since Dec. 2025.
The elite wide receiver's decommitment is a blow to Georgia's class of 2027. The Bulldogs have seven total commitments in the 2027 recruiting class and the No. 22 class nationally. Georgia no longer has a commitment at wide receiver.
Starling plays high school football for Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, Texas. He's ranked as the No. 814 recruit in the country and the No. 101 wide receiver. The 6-foot, 175-pound pass catcher is the No. 106 prospect in Texas.

"First off I would like to thank the University of Georgia coaching staff for believing in me and giving me a chance," Starling said in a social media post that announced his decommitment. "I also want to thank the great fans for all the love and support I receiver, I deeply appreciate all of it. But after further consideration and deep thought about what's best for me and my future, I will be decommitting from University of Georgia, please respect my decision."
Starling took spring visits to Arkansas and LSU, so his decommitment is not completely shocking. Georgia will move on to other wide receiver targets.
