The Miami Dolphins entered this year with a roster lacking the talent to win many games and with a schedule that would make it difficult to compete most weeks, but with a new head coach and general manager, it was understood that they were building for the future.
Through the first three weeks of their 2026 campaign, the Dolphins are 0-3, and while they're already showing some small signs of growth, it's obvious that this team isn't going to make the playoffs.
With that said, Miami should be looking to move some players in the next month or so to get some draft capital for 2027 and beyond, and interestingly, Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox identified Dolphins linebacker Joshua Uche as a potential trade candidate.

Uche joined the New England Patriots as a second-round pick (No. 60 overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent over four seasons there, a half-season with the Kansas City Chiefs and a full year with the Philadelphia Eagles. With those teams, he recorded 109 tackles, 37 quarterback hits, 21.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery.
Miami signed Uche to a one-year deal this offseason, and in three games thus far, he's recorded 11 tackles and three quarterback hits.
Knox projects that the Dolphins could get a 2027 sixth-round pick for Uche in a trade, and if that's a possibility, they should strongly consider that, unless they plan to bring the 28-year-old back for another season.
